Campaign: 1911 Club
Contribute $150

Kappa Alpha Psi has a tremendous opportunity to gain exposure via the world-renowned Tournament of Roses parade before an audience of 50 million viewers worldwide.

Brother Gerald Freeny (Upsilon 1981) -- the first African-American to serve as president of the Tournament of Roses -- has taken steps to include Kappas in the 2019 parade, including Kappa-led HBCU marching bands and Kappas in the music and entertainment industry.

This campaign exists to raise the necessary funds for the construction of a Kappa Alpha Psi float. (The photo is the float builder's initial artistic rendering).

This opportunity is unprecedented; Kappa would be the first NPHC fraternity to participate in the parade.

Kappa can raise its image and profile in ways that can showcase our programsfoster new corporate partnerships & sponsorsand aid in reclamation & membership efforts.

This fundraising effort seeks to raise the estimated cost of the float through contributions to the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation. The goal is easily achieved with 1,911 Kappas donating $150.00 each.

Please donate today; your generous contribution to the Foundation will help make history while promoting the Kappa brand in ways that will strengthen the fraternity for years to come.
