72nd Western Province Council information

The 72nd Western Province Council will take place from April 3rd through 7th, 2019 in San Diego, CA. Refer to the information below for registration information, submission deadlines, lodging information, and more.

Early registration* (received by Jan. 31)

  • Alumni: $225
  • 50 Year Member: $165
  • Senior Kappas (age 60+): $185
  • Undergraduates: $165

Regular registration* (received Jan. 1 - Mar. 27)

  • Alumni: $275
  • 50 Year Member: $215
  • Senior Kappas (age 60+): $235
  • Undergraduates: $215

On-site registration* (received after Mar. 27)

  • Alumni: $325
  • 50 Year Member: $265
  • Senior Kappas (age 60+): $285
  • Undergraduates: $265

* Official souvenirs must be purchased in advance; as such, registrations received March 28th and after are not guaranteed an official souvenir.


Province award applications must be received by March 1st, 2019.

Rooms are available at the DoubleTree Hilton San Diego - Mission Valley.

Group rates are $159 per night plus tax for 1-king or 2-queen rooms, and $174 per night plus tax for deluxe balcony 1-king or 2-queen rooms. To make a reservation, visit the hotel's group booking page here, or call (800) 222-TREE (8733) and mention group code "KAP". The deadline to book at the group rate is Sunday, March 3rd or until the group block is sold out whichever comes first.

Golf Tourney

The Jack Sudduth Memorial Golf Tournament and Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd. For more information and payment options, see the registration form here. NOTE: the registration deadline has been updated to March 19th.

Fishing Trip

Take a deep sea fishing trip to begin the Council meeting (Wed, April 3rd, 5am to 5pm).
